The first time I ever saw Makenna, before even speaking to her, I thought she was beautiful. She has these bright blue eyes and the most amazing skin complextion. I later found out that she had a heart to match her outwards appearence. I almost lost her when she started becoming interested in an ex of mine. Everyone got on her case about it and I did my best to stay out of it because I felt bad that she was getting so much negativity about the whole thing. Then she sent me this really great message saying that she had too much respect for me as a person to move forward with her actions. This really touched my heart. I mean, the girl and I weren’t close at the time, but the fact that she still had respect for me allowed me to grow a sense of respect for her. Currently, Makenna and I are becoming really good friends behind the scenes. Not many people know we talk, but we do. She really is a beautiful young lady and I truly believe she deserves the best out of love and life. You know, she may not be in my life forever, but right now it’s really pleasant having her around.
I moved to a new city and new school in the third grade. A girl named Rachel was one of the first people to ever speak to me. We were best friends all through elementary and junior high. I mean, I was basically apart of the family. When high school hit though, we kind of grew apart due to a lack of common tastes as we grew up. She became this extrmemly bitter person and lost herself along the way. It got to the point where she was telling me that I’d have to be her friend and her friend only, or not her friend at all. So, I moved on. I don’t know if she’s happy now, but I see her once in a while. It’s awkward though. It’s like an ex boyfriend that you acknowledge but don’t really care to speak to simply because there are so many mixed emotions when it comes to that person. I do wish her the best though. Once you peel past all her layers, she really is a kind and fun-loving girl. I just out grew the whole friendhsip.
I once shared a PE class with a girl named Laura. Her family is from the Middle East, so when I went to her 14th birthday party, it was super decked out with hookah everywhere. I remember dancing and singing kareoke and just having a blast. She has to be one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met. And not just one of those fake nice girls, but genuinely kind hearted. Plus she’s gorgeous. And again, I don’t mean like fakely gorgeous, but something about her is just beautiful. There’s really nothing negative I can say about this girl and I know she will make some guy in the future really happy simply because she has a wonderful heart. My only regret is not keeping her as a closer friend over the years.
